Thank you

Hello followers, subscribers and assorted paid up members of the rabble. As the post title says, I am saying thank you. Again. Because y’all mean a lot right now.

You may have noticed my postings have gone from precise times (8 am GMT) to erratic and all over the shop. That’s because this is where I currently live.

Yup. No floor. Decorating the London home so I can sell up and move to Scotland. It’s rather disruptive! Not helped by a lack of internet. My land line is somehow so knackered I cannot power the phone from the phone line. Think my videos are uploading at funny times of day and night? That’s just me hitting upload, going to bed and hoping they are all done by the morning. But hey, it works! So let’s keep creating and putting it out there! It’s only temporary, as are most issues in life.

Amidst the DIY related carnage on my home, right now, the support of you all, however it comes, is more appreciated than ever. When your house looks like a shed, every bit of encouragement is that extra bit more effective. From buying prints, tee’s, books, supporting on Patreon to liking, commenting on sharing my tales. It’s all appreciated and motivates me more than usual.

I shall be releasing the third book (finally, haha, oh god that again…) next week. I’ll put the announcement out to all you lovely folk and for five days from release, the Amazon Kindle edition will be free. I don’t do sales once a book has been out for a while because I feel it’s disrespectful to the people who support me and pay full price for digital and paperback books. By offering new books nobody’s bought at full price yet for free for five days on release to subscribers, that’s a thank you where nobody loses.

Cheers for sticking with us. I shall endeavour to continue delivering the most awful, cheesy and groan inducing punch lines this side of the fearful universe.

Keep creating!

  1. I know how this works all too well, the support of fine followers, virtually there with one, off and on can make a big difference to your life. Sconny Botland is a beautiful place, excellent choice. Keep creating, it’s good for the soul (if you have one bwahaha etc)

    1. Haha, it’s not too bad. Just hard to focus when there’s boxes everyone and it looks like a permanent mess. Pretty OCD about tidiness. πŸ™‚

    1. It’s a nice home. Pretty decent size. \but when there’s nothing in here, it’s… Just 4 rooms and a hallway… Awfully depressing!

    1. Thank you. Yes. The paperback editions from the next book onwards drift into the future though. So next weeks book covers 90 humorous tales published here from April to August. The next book, due in September, will have 90 humour tales from August to October. The following book, due in October, covers the tales published here from October to January 2018. I have about 12 books written, which change drastically in tone and style. But they are all comprised of 90’ish pieces of flash fiction posted here daily. If you wait long enough, you can read everything in the books on this site for free. The paperbacks are something that was requested, and to be honest, when I got my hold on my text and imagery in print, I really felt worked. This is also why I have no qualms about giving away the digital edition free for 5 days to followers of this site as thanks. πŸ™‚

  3. Your humor is wonderful–though sometimes weird and icky–but refreshing and new. Keep it up! And good luck with the move. Hopefully it will be refreshing to you as well.

  5. Sir, I have rarely commented on your posts, although I enjoy them. Today I am moved to say, I can relate to the chaos. Perhaps we all can (but I’m sure that doesn’t help much.) I chuckled when I looked at your makeshift office, thinking “at least his chair looks more comfy than mine, which is a wheelchair.”
I’m glad to know you’ll be releasing another book. Cheers.

  6. I can’t find a date so I don’t know whether this update is current or possibly your move has been completed … however, just wanted to share
    a) a German saying: Moving times three equals burnt down times one and
    b) the comforting (?) suggestion that a chaotic exterior beats chaotic mental state by lengths (believe me, I know!).

  7. Scotland sounds a lot better than the urban purgatories of Germany. Still I remembered how my first nights among the urban homeless disrupted my normalcy (delusion of, if we don’t repeat it), and killed my Inet access for a while…

I hope you fit in, and regrow stronger in Scotland than you ever did in London. Your works are far from my own fields of interest, but I appreciate some of your art and poetry.

    My best wishes for you.

I love London, it’s a move born of age, finances, and an overwhelming feeling that I have ‘done’ London and would like to do something new. Looks like it’s gonna be an awesome move. πŸ™‚
