Free Course: A freelancers guide to being more productive working from home

The audio was recorded some months back and left on my hard drive. The sound quality isn’t as good as my current video works, so the Fears tossed a slideshow into the mix for me, and Bodom Bomp, a free course for you all on Skillshare. There’s a bit of rabbit about it below.

It goes alongside my courses on building a WordPress following, building a social media following and building a bloggers media kit.

About This Class

Hello, I am Peter, and I am the writer and illustrator of the little fears.

I was in the fortunate position of working from home a number of times for my old job, and have spent the last year writing, drawing, blogging and freelancing from home.

One of the major issues that we face as home workers staying productive. Keeping yourself productive can be difficult at home when there’s no manager breathing down your neck and a wealth of home comfort distractions to nobble your attention.

In this class, I will be covering how to manage your time for the most effective work output. Setting personal goals, coping with lack of direction and allowing yourself time for reflection. Tips for staying healthy, which have a huge impact on your productivity and finally how to deal with people as a positive and negative to your productivity.

I hope you enjoy my class.

  1. I really don’t want to kill kittens but neither do I wish to get locked into an agreement. Can we just experience the free classes then decide to join skillshare afterwards? Proof of the pudding and all.

    1. Howdy Polly. Not quite sure what the question is there? It’s a 100% free class, you can make a free account on Skillshare without paying a penny. Just sign up, skip anything that asks you if you want to subscribe, then go back to my course.

      1. Howdy Polly. Ah, I think I get what you mean now!

Yes, no! Haha, Skillshare is just a platform that hosts online courses. Teachers have the option of setting courses to either Free or Premium. If they are free, you don’t get paid for students taking them as they are 100% free for everyone. If a teacher chooses premium, it can only be accessed with a subscription. If you pay for a subscription you get access to thousands (if not millions) of courses, and IMHO, it’s worth a subscription when they come on sale. Every student that takes a premium course, the teacher gets paid a few pennies.

I will be doing premium courses now I have a really good mic. But this course in particular and my prior courses on social media and WordPress readerships are 100% free and always will be as I feel they don’t meet my own standards of good. So are not good enough to ask anyone to pay for heh. Both social media course and WordPress course have 90% ratings, so some folk find them useful. Better than them going to waste on my hard drive aye?
