A very art-centric Friday post this week. The lady at the top is Dryad. I used to have a thing for doodling nature creatures. With ivy arms and tree trunk legs. They all used to have flowers for heads or something similar to this. Dryad’s my submission for #Colour_Collective this week.
Texture is sexy
Click the image to expand. I get asked if I can supply larger prints of my story images quite often. Unfortunately, the answer is no. I draw 6 panels to an A4 page. That doesn’t scale up well. But I have been debating taking commisions. I had a go with printing a photo onto a canvas texture paper and doodling straight on top. I do love the effect it gives. Fancy something specific? Want to commision an image of your favourite Fears? Drop me a message.

Shoe

Not a fear, but my submission to Scribblers Cove. Inspired by Daniel Cantus scribbly style.

Love the flower and all that a flower represents. Hope diminishes fear, love cast it out. And I love seeing your work.

Well, I shant fawn or grovel, but I wanna Cloud. One starving arteest to another. There has to be some sort of swag you could use. Supply a copyrighted graphic for a fair fee and I, sir, shall see to the canvas print at the WalMart kiosk. I suppose I’ve said I’m a great fan of Sarah & Duck’s Moon. I think their Moon and your cloud would be excellent companions on the wall of my dimly lit hovel. Infact, the Fears should net their own children’s show. Good adventures, adult puns built in.

Not sure if I could get a copy as anything involving the Fears would now be considered commercial use. I shall have a nosey into it.
Childrens show, interesting. I’m currently in the process of hawking on Ebay for a good web camera so I can tell the tales in a more Jackanory style. Who knows, TV may beckon!

I have Moon. I think Cloud in another frame would be a nice pair. And I’m going to leave that line alone, right where it is.
