Door

Introducing Door for this weeks #Colour_Collective. A cute wee missy, known for guarding a door. This weeks colour is Auburn.

The Little Fears website will be getting an overhaul this weekend. I adore my theme, layout, look and feel. But unfortunately, in Automatics infinite wisdom, their reader has never displayed featured images in their own WordPress reader. Baffling. Our largest followings can’t view our posts in full. This is a rather large job for me as it means I have to manually edit every post on the Little Fears to move the featured image to the first image in a post. 842 posts to be exact. Cripes. Wish me luck!

With special thanks

Weekly shout out to my $10 patron, Warren from IWrite. Without people like Warren, I wouldn’t be able to wake you all with my little fears and you’d probably cry a lot less in the morning than you already do. So please do check out Warrens blog.

  1. How weird, I was contemplating whether to mention that I can never see your pictures because the featured image doesn’t show in the reader and I read all my followed blogs in the reader. But then I thought, don’t be lazy, just click on the link top right that takes me to the full blog site. Can’t you just add the photos to the main post from here on in, going forward rather than go through all those posts, it’ll take for ever.

    1. Ahh, ruddy things aye. It’s the featured image vs WordPress reader thingy. Given up for now after breaking the website for 4 days by removing a plugin. Doh. I’ll keep working on it.

  2. Featured image url plugin has an option under advanced to use the image in the post as the ‘first’ image and injects it automatically. That worked for me for awhile and you could give it a go?

    1. Trying hiding posts in HTML, gets them to show in reader but not email. Pretty sure that’s just what the plugin does. I’ll give the plugin a go too. Cheers, Meeping.
