Sprite stepped outside and looked up the road to the afterlife. “Don’t follow him just yet,” said Lucy. “We still need your jokes, aye.”

“I guess so,” sighed Sprite. “I’m going to miss Spectre and his puns, though.”

“Your gags are better,” said Lucy. “I found one of Spectre’s in the bin a few weeks back. It was rubbish.”
