Rust – Featuring Characters!

A brief update today. Part of my morning routine is to draw six tiles, write six tales, and create one new character. I have been doing this daily for four months, and holy snot bags do I have a lot of characters now in my rogues’ gallery.

Some characters will be going into future tales. I have an entire book written about seven metallic creatures. One of which is Rust. While I am not using her in tales, I reckon she makes a snappy chocolate orange shirt.

You can order her for $20 on Threadless here.

The first two paperback books (yes, plural) will be available shortly. I’ll elaborate more in the next post, as they are all still taking some dicking with. But a quick shout out to the divine Devina who’s been giving me a hand with Good Reads.

Finally, a quick series of character doodles I have piddled about with this week. Everyone always seems interested in other peoples creative process. Doodling characters and naming them is a huge part of mine.

Enjoy your weekend and doodle on!

    1. ‘Peter’ heh. That’s actually me in RL… 🙂

Originally called the character Fenix on account of the massive ears. Never actually used him anywhere though so adopted him as my own persona. 🙂

  1. I like the new designs, most especially Moss. I hate that the LIKE button is no longer available. I usually read from my phone and I can’t comment from that…only like. Go figure.
So, just so you know, I enjoy your posts.

  2. There is no like button on the email sent out. I read them on the phone. Like used to be the only thing I could hit and the option used to be on the email at the bottom next to comments. On the flip side, I can hit comments and come to the site but still no like there via my phone.
The like button is shown on my computer and I am able to comment from my computer. I just rarely read posts from my computer…only write them on there.
I suppose it’s just my issue since no one else has had a problem. Not sure what happened…just know I do read your posts and like them very much 🙂

    1. Gosh that would be annoying. Not sure I have any influence over that. Thank you for opening me in a PC! 🙂

  3. So many fears … I have to say that’s a great deal of productivity but I imagine it’s become habit by now. Really liking the texture of the paper, and of them all Dark is giving me the creeps and that Moss looks like he crawled out of some primordial swamp! Thank you for the shout out 🙂
