Yodelling Penguins

Grey Moon – Wednesday (ep. 26)

Three penguins shuffled into the bar. They stood in such a tightly formed line that when Reala looked at them from the front, it seemed like they were just one penguin.

“Erm,” started Reala, “hello?”

“‘Allo darling,” squeaked the first penguin. “We’re here for a yodelling lesson.”

“I’m afraid I don’t know of any yodelling lessons taught around here,” replied Reala.

“Darn,” said the penguin. “Then we formed an orderly orderly orderly orderly queue for nothing.”

I am now wondering whether you might mean Badum Tish?
If so you can hear it here, although not in the key of yodel as that would definitely be an entirely different thing . . .

‘As for yodelling, I always thought it was a cry for alp’

  2. Grief, anyone know how to remove chocolate rice crispies from a keyboard? Just spewed them out through laughing! Reminds me of that conversation between the polar bear and the penguin …

Polar Bear to penguin “You know they named a biscuit after you?”
    Penguin ..”What – Kevin?”
    Gets me every time.

    Excellent read for Sunday. 🙂

  3. Granddaughter wishes to contribute to your site from the back seat of our car:

Man walks into a library and piles birds on the counter.

“I’d like to contribute some Penguins,” he says.
