Iron narrowed her eyes. “I see it,” said Copper. “Keep driving.”

Sitting on a dune, far away from the road, sat the black creature. Its piercing eyes surrounded by black feathers. Coppers original belief confirmed as it spread its wings.

Copper reached across to Iron, resting her hand on Irons’ shoulder.

“That bird,” pondered Copper, “looks a right chirp off the old block.”

    What I watched and he watched are two totally different stories let alone realities.
