“You’re a fool,” sighed Lucy. “There are some things even I don’t mess with. Aeya is among those things.”

A creepy lady with a bushy tail for a Saturday doodles.
I can imagine her being as tall as a skyscraper. Unseen by the human eye. Floating down city streets. Peering in windows. Filling workers with dread. Draining their souls without them knowing. More so than their 9 to 5s…
Serenity Blue for this weeks #Colour_Collective. I’m doing a lot of bland ones at the moment. I think I’ll keep doing them for a few more weeks, If I continue to feel uninspired, I’ll change them out for something else colour based. Maybe like the Saturday doodles I’ve posted on Twitter a few times?
T-shirt Tuesday is becoming a thing here on the Fears…
OK, one thing I’ve been trying to do with my Threadless store is mix up the designs a bit. Rather than just straight up characters I wanted something more t-shirty. I have three new ones this week along with Spiders, that was released a few weeks back but never got announced.
I often find myself saying “I’m getting there,” when asked how I am. Well, here’s not there yet, is it?
I am creating some different designs for my Threadless store while pulling off all my art prints. My prints haven’t sold Threadless. I’m also re-making all of the mockups. Dark backgrounds were the most unpopular mocks when I polled last year. Clean ice white backgrounds just aren’t Fears, but we can lighten the pics in other ways.
“And then,” grumbled Sprite, “she said she was leaving me because I changed my clothes every hour!”
“Fo’ real?” gasped Stalker. “What did you say?”
“Hold on a minute,” said Sprite. “I can change…”
…
Hah! Boom! A fear of ink. Not really a new series, but I’ve done so many one-offs, I gotta start putting them into a category for my own future tags. A fear of ink seems quite apt.
The sprites and one of the whales have been drawn onto 240 gsm acid-free acrylic paper for some lovely texturing. They weigh in at a size of 7 inches tall by 10 inches across. Pens included in images for size reference only. They do not come with the illustration. Neither does the black table. It’s pretty minging. Also lopsided if I’m honest… They come with free first class shipping within one business day so will arrive on your doorstep in a speedy fashion.
And here’s a shop link if you fancy browsing some of my other arts.
No #Colour_Collective again this week. Fears portraits shalt not rest. So this week I nobbled the theme from #PinchPunchPost. Leopard. A mean lil high-speed kitty cat. Mreow! Zoooooooooooooooooom!
The last #Colour_Collective of the year. Please say hello to Darkness. A mean arse arachnid-like monster from the Capricorn horror stories. It’s a character I’ve had for ages and I’ve never known how to present her. Turns out, giving her some spots and hanging her from a thread of web was the perfect way to present her.
It would appear, we’re one day away from new years eve. So, this is new years eve-eve, right? Or Hogmanay as they seem to call it in my new local town.
There are things I wanted to be done before the new year started that I haven’t managed. I’m still fixing the website. I’ve managed to repair about 100 posts with another 700’ish to go. Crab nabbit, that WordPress 5.0 update has mauled me. It’s taking me 5 hours for every 30 posts. Even then not all of them are working thanks to Gutenburgs… Quirks…
I’d say it’s easier to make new posts of all the old stories and mass delete the old ones. But then I could kiss goodbye to two years worth of SEO, search rankings and imagine all those links posted across social media going nowhere… Urgh. Oh well. Suck it up and get on with it.
I never managed to update my Etsy shop either (Obligatory link: etsy.com/uk/shop/LittleFears ). I have 24 new art prints, fresh from Moo, with a new and lovely card smell and none of them made it onto Etsy from a month ago.
I have to overhaul my Patreon and Ko-Fi too. When someone buys me a cuppa from Ko-Fi from now I’ll be linking to them in the footer of the next story post as thanks. Same with Patreon. I’ve always given new patrons a shout out, but I have very little support there. A few awesome Feary diehards. But otherwise, I get one new Patron a month. Then usually lose one in exchange, haha. Maybe I should be putting the weekly $10 into a daily $10 shout out. I’ve always thought if I ever got popular, that would asplode my post footers though. I’ll figure something out.
Though speaking of which…
With special thanks.
Weekly shout out to my $10 patron, Warren from IWrite. Without people like Warren, I wouldn’t be able to wake you all with my little fears and you’d probably cry a lot less in the morning than you already do. So please do check out Warrens blog.
No #Colour_Collective again this week, so I’m drafting in Aquarius for this weeks portrait. Spooky-horoscope-sea-beasts gonna be spooky-horoscope-sea-beasts, yo.
Spooky-horoscope-sea-beasts also gonna be on my Etsy store. Just saying…
Weekly shout out to my $10 patron, Warren from IWrite. Without people like Warren, I wouldn’t be able to wake you all with my little fears and you’d probably cry a lot less in the morning than you already do. So please do check out Warrens blog.
