‘She watched the roots reach up out of the ground. Twirling around each other. Tying themselves together, standing tall. She would have run when she saw her face forming in the organic ballet if the roots holding her hands and feet would loosen their grip…’
I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again. Don’t rip up flowers willy-nilly. You never know if a dryad will be watching. So, yes, Durthi has arrived at the Little Fears Etsy store. She’s available as an original art piece, not a print. On 220 gsm canvas card. Inked with a Faber-Castell PITT artist pen – Black. Free first class Royal Mail worldwide delivery. I also have Leo the lioness and the Siamese kitties in my shop if Durthi doesn’t tickle your fancy.
Say hello to Rhubarb. This weeks #Colour_Collective is Lincoln Green. The top of the horns is Lincoln Green. Originally had a black body, coloured purple, and looks so much as fear of Rhubarb to me.
With special thanks
Weekly shout out to my $10 patron, Warren from IWrite. Without people like Warren, I wouldn’t be able to wake you all with my little fears and you’d probably cry a lot less in the morning than you already do.
“Her pen danced across the page. The final letter in place, the nib tore through the paper. As well as the skin and flesh beneath.”
Hot crappity damn Virgo! Well, she’s arrived at the Little Fears Etsy store. She’s available as an original art piece, not a print. On 220 gsm canvas card. We’ll have no Princesses here. Peach for this weeks #Colour_Collective. Freshly doodled this week. Quite like the overall appearance of him.

Darn, Kohl, you are one creepy little bugger… Just a whole bunch of nope! Submitted for approval to this weeks #Colour_Collective. A Little Fear I’ve had since forever ago and never figured out what to do with him. Until now!
With special thanks

“Sure, I told him he could have his old life back. I just didn’t say which one.”
Ah, the nefarious Lucy. Luring so many to their deaths. If she’s a had a little piece of your heart, you can find her portrait over on our Little Fears Etsy store.
Another kitty for Caturday. This time Siamese the cat spirit and her kittens have arrived as an original hand doodled piece.
Their minimal, kitty kibble eating form has been drawn onto 240 gsm acid-free acrylic paper for some lovely texturing. She weighs in at a size of 7 inches tall by 5 inches across. Pens included in images for size reference only. They do not come with the illustration. Neither does the grass or leaves on the ground for that matter.
She comes with free first class shipping within one business day so will arrive on your doorstep in a speedy fashion. You can buy her by giving the link below a wee click.
Well look at that, Leo the lioness has arrived as an original hand drawn piece. Just in time for Caturday. I need to hashtag that…

I really like the way this Fear turned out. The colour of choice of course, for this weeks #Colour_Collective. Again, I think the colour sounds like a good name. So say hello to Vanilla.

“Do you know,” said Botanica, “I only drink tea on days that end with a y.”
Know the feeling, Botanica…
So here’s a thing. I have never made then sold an illustration as is. I always import it, touch it up, get it onto a shirt or art print. I have never just drawn something and sold it. I reckon it’s because I have no confidence in my own art. The nagging question, what do I do if I make something and nobody buys it? It’s a crippler.
So today I’ve put on my big girl panties… Or boxer shorts… We’ll go with boxer shorts… And drawn two Botanicas on 240 gsm, acid-free acrylic textured card, with the express intent, to sell them as is. She weighs in at a size of 7 inches tall by 5 inches across. Pens included in images for size reference only. They do not come with the illustration. Neither does the grass or leaves on the ground for that matter. She does come with free first class shipping within one business day so will arrive on your doorstep in a speedy fashion.
I’ve done some digging about for hand-drawn art and I don’t know if it’s artists selling themselves short but everything to buy is either a print or suspiciously cheap. So I’ve had to value them at what I feel they are worth. Man, that’s a hard price to come up with.
If you’d like to purchase either of them, you can head over to my Etsy store at the link below. Yeees, I know, fees, but they aren’t as much as sellers hyped them to be and it gives a little protection to both the buyer and the seller.
